The AHA! STAR Program (Strength, Teamwork, Agency, Resilience) advances eighth graders’ readiness for high school by promoting recognition and expression of personal strengths (Strengths), ability to collaborate effectively with others (Teamwork), building of personal empowerment (Agency), and ability to move through, learn from, and build strength in response to adversity (Resilience).
