Enrollment

How to Enroll:

New Teen

  1. Fill out our application; select groups/programs you are interested in. 

  2. Once you have submitted, our Director of Enrollment will reach out to you with next steps.

  3. Attend a Community Enrollment Meeting, which our Director of Enrollment will schedule with you. 

  4. Attend the mandatory After-School Program Orientation for the upcoming group cycle.

Rollover

(if you are currently attending an AHA! After-School group and are signing up for the coming group cycle)

  1. An Enrollment Meeting should take place in the context of the group you are attending; you will be asked which groups you are interested in for the next cycle and informed about any paperwork that needs to be submitted. 

  2. If you did not have an Enrollment Meeting in your group and want to enroll for the coming cycle, reach out directly to our Director of Enrollment (paulina@ahasb.org) to register

  3. Attend the mandatory After-School Program Orientation for the upcoming group cycle.

In School Options

Available at Santa Barbara, Goleta Valley, La Cumbre, and La Colina Junior High Schools; at Carpinteria Middle School; and at Carpinteria High School. 

AHA! Peace Builder programs take place in Leadership classes at SBJH, GVJH, La Cumbre, and La Colina. Talk to your school counselor about joining Leadership at your school to participate.

At Carpinteria Middle School, AHA!’s Connect to Thrive program visits sixth-grade art classes once weekly. 

At Carpinteria High School, AHA! provides its 10-week Get Focused, Stay Focused program to all ninth grade students.
