Available at Goleta Valley, La Colina, La Cumbre, and Santa Barbara Junior High Schools

The AHA! Peace Builders Junior High program is an after-school club that meets weekly on different days at each school served:

La Cumbre: Mondays

Goleta Valley: Tuesdays

Santa Barbara: Wednesdays

La Colina: Thursdays

This year-long program promotes leadership skills and social-emotional learning and builds positive, healthy community in the crucial year before high school.

Through games, interactive dialogues, and team-building, teens are given tools and resources to make strong friendships on campus, contribute to positive campus culture, and become a part of a community of well-resourced youth and trustworthy adult guides who are all empowered to make a difference in Santa Barbara.

AHA! Peace Builders Junior High Program is available to all 8th grade students at these four schools. It is an interview-based program with a limited number of spots on each campus. Placement is first-come, first-served. Enrollment for AHA! junior high programs starts in September, with programs beginning in October and running through mid-May.

If you are interested in applying mid-year, contact Leo (see below) to see whether there is space in the group in which your teen would enroll.
